Happy Fathers Day For Tomorrow

Once again we are hit in the face with one of ‘those days’ that reminds some of us we have little ones not with us at home.
Here is Australia tomorrow is Fathers Day.
I want to wish all those with little ones at home or on the way a very happy Fathers Day.  I hope you get lots of goodies and some super big cuddles from the little people in your lives.
To those with little people watching over you, I hope tomorrow is not too hard and you find peace in knowing that you are Dads and even if your little one is not with you at home they are with you in spirit  and know they had such a loving Dad.
To those who are yet to have a little one join your family, do something nice tomorrow.  I hope the day is not too hard and you get some comfort in knowing I really do belive your time will come.  You just have to hang in there.

Update From ‘Baby Quest’

The below is cut and pasted from an email S sent to a support group we are member of. Thought I would share her little update with you all ………….

‘Maxx is now off the bigger breathing machine and onto the smaller one and with any luck by mid week next week the tube may come out of his throat and he will have the 2 little prongs up his nose, but still we don’t want to rush anything and glad he has taken this next step. He is now off all medications & over all had a really good day.On a shitier note some F#$%ing low life broke into N’s car smashing the back window and stole his work laptop which happened to have all of Maxx’s video’s on it that he had downloaded the night before to back up to a disk last night. We are greatful he hadn’t downloaded the one of him opening his eyes. I just don’t get these scum of the earth. We know he shouldn’t of left it in there but as he said he had other things on his mind.’

S & N asked me to thank you all for your kind words and wishes. S will be writting a short ‘novel’ soon on her blog to fill you all in on whats been happening over the last 9 weeks. I’m sure she will post a photo or two as well. 🙂

A Very Quick Entrance Into The World

Sorry everyone for my disappearing act.  We went on a holiday to see the in laws and only got back yesterday.
Wouldn’t you know it, the first few days we are away I get more new on S & N and have no way to tell you all.
Maxx Cooper was born at 25 weeks on the 24th August weighing 845g and 32 cm long after S experiencing the rather terrifying  prolapsed cord.  No one panic.  He is doing rather fine! 🙂
He has graduated to a humidity crib, has open his eyes for his Mum and Dad and S has been able to change his nappy.
He will have a long stay in hospital but for now things are good and that’s all that matters. I wont post S’s birth story as I’m sure she will want to tell it when she gets 5 min to herself.
Welcome to the world ‘little’ Maxx.  You have been so wanted and so hard to get.
